Our Story

We know these mountains intimately.

Altitude Luxe is a family business, born from our own love of the mountains and the places we have created here.

We began as chalet owners ourselves. Today, we offer a carefully selected collection of private luxury chalets across Courchevel, Méribel and Champagny-en-Vanoise — each one chosen because it is somewhere we would genuinely be delighted to stay ourselves.

It is personal, deliberately small and built around something we believe matters just as much as the chalet itself: the people looking after you.

Meet Allan & Wivica

We’re Allan and Wivica — two passionate skiers from Scotland and Sweden.

After many holidays in the French Alps, we fell in love with Champagny-en-Vanoise and decided to make the mountains a bigger part of our lives.

It all started with a centuries-old Savoyard barn that we transformed into Chalet des Rêves, our own mountain home. One project led to another, and over the years we have restored and developed several properties in the village. Of all the places we have created along the way, Chalet Les Champs was one we simply wanted to keep — and now we are opening its doors to our guests.

Somewhere along that journey, Altitude Luxe was born — bringing together our own chalets with a small collection of privately owned mountain homes that we know and love.

The People Behind Your Stay

A small team. Three resorts. More than 25 years of luxury chalet experience.

Some of the faces may already be familiar.

Angela and Vasileios look after our guests at Chalet Infusion in Méribel Village and will already be known to many of those returning to stay with us.

Gill, our Concierge, makes sure everything is in place for your time in the mountains, while Giles, our Head of Sales & Guest Relations, looks after our guests from the first enquiry through to their arrival.

Together, we take care of everything around your stay — from private chefs, ski passes and instructors to transfers, spa treatments and those restaurant tables that can be almost impossible to get.

We’re hands-on and we know these valleys. We know the instructors people come back to year after year, where to ski when the mountains get busy, and the places worth discovering away from the obvious.
